Ladies Night
As the mercury drops in
O.k. the ladies night of
I toured the first floor and couldn’t even squeeze to get to the second floor. I found the best spot in the bar. It’s in the back where the ladies get their free drinks. Yes, it’s the only bar section that gives the free frozen margaritas. On this particularly cold night in Dec, there were very few Chinese girls out. It was mostly foreign women.
The conversations between the women were interesting. The group next to me were joking and drinking and talking. They went thru about 4 drinks each, and they were a group of 7 women. The talked ranged from experiences they had to guessing what the guys approach line is and who is cute and who is ugly. Some of the girls were just looking for any guys to talk to them. The funny part of the conversation was when the girls were happy that their were less Chinese girls in that night. I guess it’s a hrad choice for a guy a western love handle girl or a nice skinny Chinese girl. Hmm, hard choices. One of the girls already picked out this tall French guy she smiled to and hooked. Another guy saw one of the girls was a little tipsy so he walked over and said have we met before and the girl gave him a drunk look and he moved in to hug and chat her up. I would call that a done deal. The French man was also a done deal. That was in a span of about 30 minutes.
It sort of fits the thinking I had about people. When a guy walks out of the house he looks in the mirror and says I wonder if I am going to get lucky tonight? A girl looks in the mirror and says damm I know I’m getting lucky tonight. It seems so true in
Well, Zapata’s is like going back to the days of college. The music is from the 80’s and the style of drinking is the same. All the way down to when the bartender get up on the bar and start pouring the free tequila shots in everyone’s mouth. The first round is usually only guys. Then the second round of free shots comes around 12. Then all the girls get up to the bar and have a long long shot.
On this particular night more western women than usual, that’s what the guys were saying. This is actually the first time I have gone to Zapata’s since they opened. I never liked dive joints. The interior is rundown and definitely feels like a college dive bar. I guess I like Chinese women because they are slim; the foreign women were all in the 125 pounds and over range. Ah, I know what your think, no I took pictures of the whole. You can see what I mean. No lies here!. We are talking majority.
