Sens & Bund
We came with as great expectations, as a 3 stars cuisine import from France might raise – 3 stars at Michelin translate into “this restaurant is worth a journey”. With a Michelin rating it’s has to be good!
Eating at Senses & Bund at Bund 18 has your mouth watering ready for the meal, The 8 course Menu (at 800rmb
+15%) .
The service was just so so. I asked question and got no answers. They listed the specials of the day and they did not know how the dish is cooked. The food, hmm, the fish I ordered did not impress me. The interor was nice and view was good.
The lunch deal by the way is quite ok: 180 for two courses, 220 for
three (+15%) and you definitely get the same quality as in the evening
(portions were definitely not nouvelle-cuisine).
